Custom Window Shades for Auburn, GA Homeowners
Finding window treatments that actually fit your windows and match your home’s style can be frustrating when you rely on big-box store options. Monroe Plantation Shutter Pros brings a fully custom approach to custom window shades for homeowners throughout Auburn and Barrow County.

What’s Included in Our Custom Window Shades Service
When you hire Monroe Plantation Shutter Pros for custom window shades, you get a complete, hands-on service that goes well beyond dropping a box at your door. Here is what every project includes.
Precise In-Home Measurements
Our installer visits your Auburn home and measures every window by hand. Accurate measurements are the foundation of a shade that operates smoothly and looks clean from both inside and outside your home. We never ask you to measure yourself and guess.
Fabric and Opacity Selection
We bring a full range of fabric swatches to your consultation so you can see how each option looks in your actual light conditions. You can choose from sheer, light-filtering, room-darkening, and full blackout fabrics across a variety of textures and colors. Our team also offers custom window blinds and custom plantation shutters if you want to mix treatments across rooms.
Professional Installation and Hardware Mounting
Every shade is installed by our own trained team, not subcontracted labor. We mount all hardware flush and level, check that each shade raises and lowers without binding, and remove all packaging before we leave. The finished result looks intentional and built-in, not like an afterthought.

When Do Auburn Homeowners Need Custom Window Shades?
There are several situations where Auburn homeowners reach out to us for custom shades. Some are planning a renovation, others are solving a specific light or privacy problem that generic options have failed to fix.
Windows That Let In Too Much Heat or Glare
Auburn summers are intense, and south or west-facing windows can make a room nearly unusable in the afternoon. Solar shades block UV rays and reduce heat gain without darkening the room. Our custom window treatment design service helps you identify which rooms need the most protection.
Non-Standard Window Sizes in Older Auburn Homes
Many homes in Auburn’s established neighborhoods have windows that do not match modern standard sizing. Off-the-shelf shades either leave gaps or bunch up at the sides, which looks sloppy and defeats the purpose. Custom-fabricated shades solve this problem permanently by fitting the exact opening every time.
Privacy Concerns in High-Traffic Areas
Homes on busier Auburn streets or in open-plan subdivisions often need better privacy without sacrificing natural light. Light-filtering shades let light in while blocking direct sightlines from the street or neighboring properties. It is one of the most common reasons homeowners in Auburn contact us for a consultation.
If any of these situations sound familiar, do not wait. The right window treatment makes a noticeable difference in comfort and privacy every single day.
